Variances

When will I need a zoning code variance in order to build an addition on my home?
Variances are required when building over a setback line, exceeding a lot coverage limit, or adding a locally restricted Architectural feature such as a front entry garage.
Common hardships that may require a variance are:
Corner Lots
Odd Shaped Lots
Lot Topography
Existing location of the building on the lot
We are able to prepare the necessary drawings and application needed to present your project to the local Board of Adjustment.
Additional site plans may be required by a Surveyor.
